"Spice of Life"

May 14 - July 13, 2008

Association of Pacific Northwest Quilters 6th Invitational Traveling Exhibit
Curator: Sharyn Cole

"Variety is the spice of life!" inspired this exhibit of 50 fabric creations interpreting what brings meaning & joy in life. These expressive & diverse artworks were limited only by size, a maximum of 24 by 36 inches.

After traveling the U.S. for 2 years, the collection will return to Seattle to be auctioned at the Pacific Northwest Quiltfest in August 2008 to benefit APNQ.

APNQ's traveling exhibits serve as both fundraisers for the non-profit & as a realization of its mission -- to promote the art of quilt-making in the Pacific Northwest & beyond. Through the generosity of the quilt makers who donate their works, APNQ's traveling exhibits have raised more than $105,000 to promote the art of quilting.

Please join us for a reception with the artists on Sat., May 24, 11am-3pm.
